Welcome to the Substance Abuse Prevention Planning and Epidemiology Tool (SAPPET), an interactive, web-based data and planning tool offering users convenient access to key substance abuse and behavioral health data sources, indicator estimates, and interactive graphs and tables. Formerly the Behavioral Health Indicators System, SAPPET has been renamed to capture the essence of its functionality: to guide prevention planning and epidemiological analysis.
SAPPET can enhance data-informed prevention planning by:
- Providing epidemiological data that practitioners can use to create epidemiological profiles, inform strategic plans, and produce data-informed products such as fact sheets on key indicators; and
- Assisting grantees in collecting, analyzing and reporting key substance-abuse and associated behavioral health outcomes at the state, jurisdiction ,and tribal levels
Note: SAPPET aggregates indicator estimates from various publicly available national sources. While we make every effort to post accurate and reliable information, we cannot guarantee that this information, in its original form, is complete, accurate, or up-to-date. Further, we assume no responsibility for the use or application of any posted material, or for any discrepancies between the estimates included in the system and the original data source. Finally, we are not responsible for the information or opinions expressed in any of the linked sites.
